Question by Tony S: What is the best brand of dog food for a male 1 yr old hound/lab/retriever mix?
I’m about to rescue my first dog, and I’m not sure what kind of dog food to get him. The people at the rescue shelter have been feeding him regular adult Science Diet. A friend of mine suggests I get something better. I just want my dog to be healthy.

Look for a food without any corn, wheat, soy, or by products that lists a meat as the first ingredient.
