In 2008 Best Friends Animal Sanctuary took in 22 dogs rescued from Michael Vick’s Bad Newz kennels. On March 11, 2013, 6 of the 22 dogs who have been adopted returned with their families to the Sanctuary for a reunion to mark 5 years of freedom.
