How much cold can German Shepherd puppy can live with?

Question by rahul a: How much cold can German Shepherd puppy can live with?
I heard German Shepherd dogs can sustain extreme cold weather.
- is anybody 100% sureif german shepherds can sustain in extreme cold weather or not.
- If german shepherds can sustain cold weather, then is it alright if a 4 months old german shepherd is sleeping outside in 4 degree centigrade or 40 degree Fahrenheit temperature?

please let me know if you are really sure about that.

at 4 months, i wouldn’t suggest it, cuz her double coat hasn’t come in yet all the way. 40degrees really isn’t that bad. if she likes it then let her do it. I have a neighbor that has a husky and i see her sleeping on snow banks during the day, but they like that. Until her full coat comes in i wouldn’t let her stay out there too long, but if she wants to let her, i’m sure she’ll tell you when she wants to come in, but also don’t do it if you don’t feel comfortable with it. She will have a great double coat and will beable to sustain the temps, so no matter what anyone says, she’ll be ok.
