Question by little miss metalhead: Is my friend’s family neglecting their elderly dog?
He is an elderly dog with extremely bad arthritis – sometimes he can barely walk. My concern is that his owners aren’t doing anything for his pain – he lives mostly outside even when it’s cold, and they don’t give him meds or anything. When my aunt’s dog had bad arthritis, she took it to the chiropractor and the acupuncturist and eventually had it put down because it was in so much pain. Is it neglect to not do anything for your dog’s severe arthritis, or am I overreacting?
