Question by Tee Tee: How to change this dog behavior?
I have a lab and he wants to meet every person or dog he encounters. When we go for walks people will ask if they can pet him and I tell everyone that they can only pet him if he sits. Now when he sees someone approaching no matter how fast we are walking he will abruptly stop and sit. I guess he thinks they will pet him for sure if he is sitting. Any suggestions on how to change this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
