Pessimistic dogs have more separation anxiety

Dogs who expected to find food in their bowls were much more relaxed when their owners were away than those who expected the worst - an empty food bowl, researchers found.Dogs with a “food-bowl-half-empty” attitude are more likely to bark, yowl and chew when left alone than dogs with a sunnier outlook, according to a new study.
